Dry, Tired of Thirsting

Lately I've been crying more than often.
The more I think about my past, the more
I want to scream. They say they love me
But leave me dry. Sounds like selfishness.
I'm young, what am I supposed to do?
I need you, you forget me and now I'm
Left to depend on where you came from.
How could you forget your own child?
How could you leave me in the dark?
Why wouldn't you make your life better
For the both of us? No, it's all about you.
It always has been. Keep on living your life.
I'll be away as usual and you'll be where you are.
Always sorry, always wanting to start afresh and we
End up right where we were before.
You don't love me,
You love you.
