Their muteness is changed in a twinkling of an eye with the winds help. I enjoyed reading this one today. Very descriptive. thanks for sharing and for dropping by my page. Our front yard, the top of the house is covered with red oak leaves, but they are not dry as of right now. Sara

The ending line well describes the decaying leaves.

These dry leaves will turn and turn with every wisp of wind. Rowdy or mute, their fate is the same. They will finally dissolve in the soil....! A beautiful haiku....
