Drunken Moon

in a gray sky,
                 afloat Earth's big satellite,
                    ocean filled its light.

the Beauty of the night sky....dimly lit with stars for a romantic sigh....pure serenity for all to try....and all it costs is a Loving eye....;)

By the way, Bobby Tojo, whose name I borrowed for my own pen name, is a real person, and has a Uncle in Japan who pens original Haiku, he still insists Haiku can only be written or read in Japanese, but it is a different world today. His name is Shiraito that he wrote under, named after a waterfall, I think it is. He helped me when I first started writing Haiku, but he still insisted it is not really "Japanese Haiku." Ho hum.

Interesting this Drunken Moon, certainly meets requirements of Haiku, which is a form I have also written in a few years back, because it is so challenging. I used the pen name of Bobby Tojo writing mine, maybe I will dig some out of my crypt, as it has never been shared with anyone, except I think Judy Konos has read some of it. I found it more difficult to do a decent Haiku than a full 14 line precise and exact Shakespearean Sonnet, which is my favorite form to write in. I certainly encourage more from you.
