Drowning
I feel like I'm drowning
But I'm on dry land
Everyone else is breathing fine
So why is is that I'm dying inside?
This air feels like water
It's slowly seeping into my lungs
It's a matter of time
Until I'm finally done
This air is killing me
So why is everyone else breathing
Are they fish with gills?
Or am I just that one
That can't survive in life
This air is like water
It's killing me so slow
But as slow as it's going
It's almost my time to go
I finally let the water take me
The water everyone seems to breathe so well
But this water
It was so toxic
It was the end of me
So why did I die drowning
While everyone else
Could easily breath
