Drowing In Doubt

Alone in my thoughts
Afraid of my mind
Up to my ankles
In misery and doubt
The water is rising
I'm starting to sink
Just think of good times
You'll be soon be alright
Perfect harmony
That music was so sweet
Music to my ears
Would take me away
My thoughts were not cloudy
They were my escape
Now I am stuck here
Where did I go wrong?
When did the levy break
Causing me to drown
Loneliness and bitterness
Is all that I taste
From tears that have fallen
From my eyes with regret
I need a life jacket
To keep me afloat
Before it is to late
On my thoughts I will choke
