Dropping Jewels

I had to rest entirely on faith
I had to learn
To set my fears aside
My wants and so called needs
Onto the hands of the ONE who called on me

There was no purpose in purpose
If I did not allow myself to see the unseen
It was
More forgiving
More inviting
More of everything
Then those things placed in front of me

So I walked
Dropping jewels
Firmer were my steps
Fleeing from my eyes
Dropping jewels
Purging what was left
Dropping jewels
From my mouth
It was wise
So he was glad
In the ways of my listening so
Jewels dropped
For I had to be had

Wanting more from me
I realize his wants
My wants were more
In wanting the same

I gave it all to him
In the forgiveness of me
For I was already forgiven

And the jewels
The jewels he dropped
Were of the force he cried
When Jesus was crucified
In his purpose
I came to life
