Dropped From the Sky

Someone else’s Alien,

In a spaceship that falls,
Drops from the sky,

Someone else’s Alien,
Been living on Mars,

Waiting for my moment,
Been circling in space,

And now,
my spaceship finally drops

Spinning and turning,
Twisting to Earth,

Some else’s Alien,
Come from afar,

Ready to land,
To take my first steps,

To dance,
To walk on this living beautiful land,

This planet of opposites,
Of questioning minds,

I come to remind you,

you have
So much.

For I am,
Like you,

Someone else’s Alien,
Come from
Afar.
