Drop of Love

Not a drop of liquor to interfere,
Drunk on love's celestial bliss,
I've tried to resist
This intoxication too bitter but so sweet,
But no matter I am how drunk
Sobriety come with the first morning light,
Drunk on love,
My heart comes undone every night,

Yet a drop of love that shall I sip,
Love drunk’s the cosmos with my quill,
I've tried to assist
This addiction so nude but too clean
And no matter I bathe in how many drops, sir,
It’s never enough to ache for every bit of it,
Love drunk,
My body runs wet with sweat this amidst.
