Drip Drip Drip
Humid
Wet season air smothers
In pelting sun
I’m covered
My body sweat
Trickles down
Drip drip drip
Clouds gather
Thunder heads tower
Sun drop
An orange orchard
A wind change
My body sweat
Trickles down
Drip drip drip
Storm heads
And thunder clashes
Lightning flashes under
Wind flaps and claps
The humid air
It pushes
My body sweat
Trickles down
Drip drip drip
Rain falls in sheets
The tent
It did creak
Thunder silhouetted
My bed it did a wetted
And the water
Trickles down
Drip drip drip
The creek picked up its flow
The Crocs
Circled below
Fish jumped
Frogs croaked
Water flowed down
From the leaves
Drip drip drip
Sitting in the morning light
The yellow orchid
It did glow
Downing a coffee delight
And water
Still went
Drip drip drip
