The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Drinking Coffee

What if there was no real?
No ground to walk
No sky to fly

	Just an allusion inviting
itself to your mind.

the coffee shops are empty,
credit cards are melted

the change
smacking the register is
silenced

Has the mind been shut?

or was it open
to begin?

Beings lost in life
have forgotten the water and
sun

what if the ego's grew so big,
we've forgotten
we have no control?

Luckily I'm only
talking to myself.

people would think I've gone
mad

ha, the title drew me in:-) i like the feel of the poem... sometimes I wish and feel we are all all allusion. no sky, no ground, only silence. Frank, and a world with out coffee, is a world without love..LOL... on a more serious note, i love the confident you have, when knowing we do have some kind of control... thanks God.. always~ PD
