Drifting

Clinging to life Praying unheard prayers Fearful of what lies beyond Whether it be hell or heaven But accepting of the truth Letting the burden of life slip away Freedom, flying, bonds released Free as a snowflake free falling Savor it, you think All good things must come to an end, you think But it never stops, just flying Free from wants and desires This is what true happiness feels like, you think As, you drift you began to feel lonely Longing for someone to love you. Then she arrives Confused, afraid Then you see the bliss cross her face You go to her and she looks at you Your loneliness dissolves and you exist eternally alongside each other.
