Drifter

Silence (sadness) interrupted by my thoughts of him (my drifter)
his kiss so soft and sweet (like icing on a cake) eyes dancing (shining)by candlelight
colors of crimson (passion) and blue (serenity) surrounding us
traveling and drifting (in his arms) to unexplored (familiar) places knowing (hoping) that
forever (this moment) we are one
praying for a lifetime (eternity) of waking to his touch
the love of my drifter (a wonderful memory) forever
