Dressed UP I got up early, before the dawn... and dressed to impress. I had nowhere at all to go, or to be, I just wanted to remember, what it was like, to see the world, and ride my bike. I put on a fancy hat, and long leggings. I knew it would be cold, and I am old. My bones hurt, but I refuse to let that stop me... from being who I am, and who I am... supposed to be. God made me, exactly as I am... on purpose.

Your beautiful poem is what you are. Its a great quality to show what you are and wanted to be instead of putting a different mask than what you are. Enjoyed you poem df. With best wishes.....Shubhkaamnaaen .... Ravindra

Amen! Do it your way because that's why you're here. Who's going to play your part if you decide to give in to what others think you should be or how you should act. Go for it! my friend. Hugs, Bill

Joyful verses, Ann, I liked this so much. Love the fun image, I was able to keep going till I broke my leg two years-ago, I did a good one on myself, but one must go on. I used to be a runner, even in San Francisco’s Bay to Breakers. Woo Hoo Pangie
