I regret the arguments we had when we shared a bed. And the ever-present doubt that constantly filled my head. Every flirtation festered, poisoning my heart and soul. And amidst the suspicions, depression levied its toll. The pain of your betrayal has torn my whole world apart. And I have not stopped crying; since you crushed my shattered heart. I pace the floor late at night, unable to sleep or rest. And I hear every heartbeat; as it pounds within my chest. My pillow gets drenched with tears each night, weeping for your touch. And I cannot prevent it; because I miss you so much. You left me without a word, and yet, I still want you back. For I'm frightened here alone; and the night's shrouded in black.
