Dreamy Skies

Again I'll close my sleepy eyes

                         Beneath the deep and dreamy skies

                         Again the moon, and twinkling stars

                           Mercury Venus, Earth and Mars

                           Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, swoon

                          The Milky Way, as does Neptune

                         And good ole' Pluto, that little guy...

                         Dance through space, the inky sky

                            And as I drift in slumber's rest

                          To rise at dawn upon life's quest

                        I'll rest in He Who made those skies

                           Lulled by The Father's lullabies

Sara Kendrick March 31, 2023 at 10:30 AM Ahh!! Reads like a good lullaby for a contest. I enjoyed reading this one today. It has good flow, rhythm, and rhyme plus shows your faith. Plus at first I thought you were going to talk about how those planets lined up on the horizon in the west right at sunset this week. It won't happen again until 2040.
