Dreams of You

last night i dreamt of you and me
hand in hand lying under the trees
i'd left my hand for a kiss so sweet
you'd look at me and our eyes would meet
my eyes drift closed as your lips brushed mine
i want you like this for the rest of time
we stood and walked along the bank
for this is paradise, its you i thank
i hear you whisper "J'ador tu"
i softly say i love you too
but something seems a little wrong
i think a bit, but then you're gone
when i awake my fist clenched
and i finally remembered; you never spoke french

Dreams can be crazy but sometimes prophetic as well. Perhaps there is a French lady in your future. Let me check the crystal ball, Kevin...why yes, the image is getting clearer now. Enjoyed this one! Je t'ador, Carolyn
