Dreams Gone All Wrong
Bruised and battered
she lies on a
pillow wet with tears……
Trying to think
What is it she has done
to deserve this??
From her child hood
a woman dreams
of a man in her life……
A prince charming
Who will love her,
protect her
and be there for her…..
Make her feel like a queen….
Not In her wildest dreams
had she ever thought
that her dreams
would turn into a nightmare…..
Little had she thought
That her love would
give her the scare…..
Hitting her for every little glitch
Even for speaking her mind
Treating her like a commodity, a thing,
an emotionless being….
In a suffocating relationship
she lingers on….
Can’t even show her wounds
to any one……
I wonder why
Women tolerate such men??
Nothing is more important than self respect
Not even a COWARD husband…….
