Dreams 2
My dreams come in half-awaken stage,
Shadows of happiness and despair in the past,
I always wonder why dreams are in black and white,
Maybe it brings realism to the echoes of my mind.
Love when my lover dreams of me,
No hugs and kisses, just togetherness under dark skies,
Tells me how romantic it was watching together moon and stars,
Awakened, the love lingers in our hearts.
Sometimes ghosts from my past haunt me,
Oftentimes, I dream of dear loved ones from the past,
Almost live, they love me, talk to me, and guide me,
Give me a vision and confidence to jump into reality.
And then there are dreams we dream fully awake,
These are the dreams that shape our future.
Does repeating dreams bother me,
Maybe it is a reminder of some unfinished task.
Mostly, I believe I have a dream,
A dream of goals and determination,
If I don’t dream, I can’t achieve,
Life is a void without dreams.
