Dreaming - Three Verses Contest

Dreaming is the relaxing of the mind
allowing  pleasure, love and hope
a contrived fantasy

Wishing and hoping
beautiful things not allowed
in life's token.
Desires all  unspoken
within dreams, can be fulfilled    

Face reality
upon wakening, all gone....
Just "what if's" remain

Robert Pettit June 12, 2013 at 12:02 AM While I was a casino dealer, I had a reoccurring dream of being on the stick position of a craps table. Somebody would throw the dice down to the other end of the table, and when I went to make the call, there would be no spots on the dice. I always wanted to know how that dream would be interpreted. You have a good write.
