Dreaming Day
Today will be a dreaming day,
When I will linger where I lay,
No past, no future to fulfill,
My heart will soar with wings until
I reach the shadows of my sleep,
Beyond the darkness of defeat,
Into the place where I can see
The bigger picture side of me.
And then she'll whisper in my ear,
The words of love I long to hear,
Sweet angel coming close and true,
My open heart belongs to you.
I want to breath and feel that way,
Today will be a dreaming day.
