Dreamer's Ball
There she was, like a vision
entering into the room, the crowd
Yet, she stood alone, a diamond
shining far more brilliant than another.
She looked towards me, I shook.
Will she come and let me give her
my hand and myself for the evening?
Will she grace me with a dance?
She does and midnight came quickly,
but she remained and adorned my arm.
As the music of the night played on,
we were alone in a room full of people.
