Dreams of Peace Peace is an illusive, transitory state of mind Equality fiercely sought, for all humankind Awakening to the truth, we are denied Crisis among nations, propels and maligns Ending wars, attaining world peace, a dream declined

No example of it anywhere...not even in our own oscillating minds and hearts...not while we cling to these bodies, which are representative of mankind's spirit development. Absolutely! Peace is Transitory!! Perfectly said. Says it all.

I am with you Mike~our world has always had it's difficulties, I think it is human nature to want to be in control and superior....they thrive on power and destroy the lives of those who put them in power....it is quite an irony! Thanks for stopping by to visit. :)Paulette

Also, sadly, I'd say the vast majority of the world's people want peace. It's the greed of world "leaders" that causes the problem. I know that's an over-simplification, but it seems that way to me.

It all seems rather hopeless when one considers that the God of Christians, Jews, and Muslims has been unable to establish peace in his "Holy" city of Jerusalem over thousands of years . . . .
