Dream Like Nature

Claude.
                                             Paris
                                          at Giverny.
                                 Reflections, impressions.
The painter of light and color.
                        Footbridges, cathedrals, dreamlike nature.
                                      A lover of water lilies.
                                             Monet's
                                               art.

I lov Monet's art, impressionism was so unpopular and disliked during Monet's time. Imagine how proud he would be to know they are now worth milions

I admire people who can paint and great artists who leave their mark, also writers such as you who magnify their beauty through word, thank you for sharing dear Marikate , :)

Your kind comments are poetic in a flowing kind of way. They are 'pretty' to read. Thank you.

Well, I certainly got an education here: 'Paris at Giverny' was 'Greek to me.' Lovely penning, Marikate: Monet in his heyday -- canvasses of art like ballet! Smiles, Gershon

What a kind thing to say. I too have seen the lilies at The Chicago Museum of Art. I remember being speechless. I love to paint them for fun. My mother spoke French and introduced me to Monet, Matisse, and Mary Cassatt when I was young. Thank you for your nice comment Paulette.
