Dream Destination

Congratulations, Karen , on your win in this contest with a soulful take on the prompt. I was thinking to write along this line, But then I changed my mind to some destination nearer to me, my own island.

Sweet poem Karen! I'm getting seed catalogs now! I have a stich in a community garden! A senior Mom of a friend in a small town boutique sold her ornate bright rugs in her daughter's shop, I bought one and hung it on my wall for 25 years following my friend's moms passing as remembrance, then a fire in my condo destroyed most everything but the rug survived with some damage, I now use it in my kitchen & haven't hung anything on my walls till it moves me, I know a Mennonite Lady who spins yarn on a loom, so a few references appear in my poem! jimbo
