Draw the Line

time has come 
to finally draw 
a clear line 
between the 
past and the 
present state 
of affairs 
no longer will 
look back upon 
the past in hopes 
of changing the present
on longer will look 
to the future in order 
to create the present 
goals to be full field
in the here and now
keep focus on the 
here and now 
on the day to day 
stay mindful of the 
present state of things 
is the new goal to 
achieve
