Drama In the Kitchen

I spot him scooting along the dining room sideboard Twitching all over, he peers into the kitchen Cautiously, he advances a step or two then he pulls up, looks around, sniffs the air... Continues, moving within easy range of my broom poised to whack him senseless One more step, you feeble rodent... Ha! Your guts are coming out of your mouth

So sad.... ! I am sure it must be a mouse. Though it is a cruel act, we cannot but do it . Here we catch them in a mouse trap and drown them in water. However great poetry dear Gershon.

Its a sad truth that we have to deal with Gershon. I remember when I lived in Rochester NY. We were in a suburban house. In Greece NY. My dog was scratching under the sink door. Argggh! And I though I'd seen something in 1971 when I saw a rat as big as a dog scratching at my friend's (communal) bathroom door in Greenwich Village, NYC. Whoa! (I left 'my friend' at the crack of dawn!!). Peanut butter did the trick for you, I see. Better than drowning him. ~ Life Jack E.T.

dishwasher to the basement. He did not have a care in the world. It shook me up so much I drove to the Super Walmart and got rat traps. Put peanut butter on them. The next day my girlfriend scream got my attention. I ran down in the basement and Mr Rat was dead in the trap. Sad thing to see but it was either him or us. I will never forget that. I live in the country now up north and no rats thank God. We do have an occasional mouse from time to time. Field mice are out here in the country... Thanks for posting...
