Dragon-Fly Wings
The tiny
lamp's bulb is frosted: windows
are caked
with minute
designs, not one of which the scheme
of a fist-
shaped heart,
beating like dragon-fly wings
within its life-
span of a day..
wings the tints of a fairy-
tale welkin.
