The place to be on a summer night.
When you want to go "down the shore".
A walkway that extends out of sight.
Seashore boardwalk, so much fun in store.
"Walking the boards" always the thing to do.
A playground stretching along the beach.
Provides fun, food, and a beautiful view.
All yours to enjoy, all within reach.
There is music accompanying the ocean's song.
Bright lights, to bring day to the night.
An oasis, where all shore lovers belong.
Tasty goodies that bring such delight.
Games to play, prizes to win.
Step up and do your best.
In a moment, a new game will begin.
Don't like this one, go on to try the rest.
Arcades and carnival rides.
Some easy, some requiring skill.
You see adults hiding their eyes.
Top of the Ferris wheel being very still.
Time passes quickly, at this happy place.
But don't forget to stop by for a treat.
Salt Water Taffy to go, so leave a space.
A night on the boardwalk, just can't be beat.
