Down the Edge

Down The Edge

Monday, join workforce
Tuesday, feel the prime
Wednesday, get worn
Thursday in wrangle
Friday, take a leave

Saturday fun
Up to midnight
Visit old friends
Go to downtown

For each day
Prisoner
Of worldly

Forget
Someone

God

I think many do. I don't know where I would be without my faith. The ending packs a punch in this poem. Great way to share your message. Thank you for your kind words on my poem. Karen

This is a challenging verse form, Noel, but you make a profound statement. Was not expecting the last three lines...perhaps I, too, was forgetting "Someone." Awesome! Love, Carolyn

Interesting write. Yes, God should be part of everyday of our life, not just on Sunday. Thanks for sharing and thank you for your kind comments on my poem. Best wishes, Caroline.
