Doubts

Doubts. One of the worst ways you know you’re in love, The one thing you never want to feel with your person, Forget the flowers, date nights, hugs lasting forever, The only thing that lasts longer: doubts. Flooding each thought; Every tone change, each oddly said goodbye, Wild thoughts escaping, ruining that memory, Filling it with the most overwhelming thing: doubts. Trying to overcome these silly thoughts, Knowing they can be trusted with that delicate heart, Believing they’ll never do intentional harm, But there’s one feeling, hidden deep, deep down: doubt.
