DOUBT

Doubt now wears a devilish smirk Whispering in my ears it lurks It sits stout on my chest, suffocating me Contaminating my thoughts It won’t let me be, fear pushing me down Anxiety now gets hold of my tongue! Self doubt and blame are my two feet Always ready to walk me to defeat Doubt will be my downfall I know I will not let it get the better of me I let you into a secret, you see I never liked it’s company!
