Doppelganger - Contest

In the darkness she lies still,
Her closed eyes do feel my stare
Each breath she takes fills my lungs
Her thoughts, our minds, run

Her fears flood right through my veins
She twitches and turns for me
She is me and I am her
Our hearts beat as one

I think you did a fine job with this one. Yours is a lot like mine, actually (if I ever get ready to post mine!) I think it is one of the better ones I have seen.

Thanks Andrea, I am not 100% happy with it - i feel like i could give it more. although, the frustration may just help my next poem to be my best one!
