Doors

"Many a door has to fall before a soul can answer God’s call" - Belle Bellevue My house has two doors at the entrance One is a wooden door painted white Other is a safety door with iron grills They often make me ponder God created world free for all. Man created doors to safeguard what he owned without realizing all belongs to God. All was gifted at birth, will be taken back at death. We create a door in our heart where no one is allowed to peek. We are scared We wear a facade and roam about. We control our emotions If we opened the door of our heart, became same inside out, we would feel natural and lighter. Does the world need doors? Do jungles have doors? Aren't animals living happily without doors? If we understood the reality of life That God resides in heart of all He is within all, we are within him If our mind overflows with love and faith We will not need any door at all 29.07.2021 Submitted to Finding Your Muse, Regina McIntosh Inspired by: Belle Bellevue wrote this comment on my poem. Her comments inspired this write. Thanks Belle There are no doors placed on the planet, the only doors are those in buildings that are built. God created a globe free to roam, we make our own doors to our souls be they welcoming or closed

I like this metaphoric write "We create a door in our heart where no one is allowed to peek." So true!

Rama that’s a wonderful write, so good. It’s great when poets inspire one another, lots of my poems have come to fruition that way. Best wishes for Regina’s contest ~ Belle…… (Many a door has to fall before a soul can answer God’s call.) that quote just came from nowhere.)

Great thoughts to ponder, Rama, yeah, if we invite God inside our hearts, then no need for doors anymore:)

No doors placed on the planet... Of course, no windows either. Yet we see... Food for thought, Rama. ~ Vision Airy

For sure; when God created the world he created it out of himself -- us, God -- we are inseparable. The only separation is when we close our minds and hearts to truth. Whatever happens to this world, in this world, to any individual, on some level of existence happens to all of us. Very well written my friend!

In an ideal world we wouldn't need doors but evil doers make them necessary. Good luck in the contest Tom
