Don'T You Dare Forget
It's crazy how we as humans debate these great things
We brave situations daily, with masks on, we hate this
Everyday the same thing, and instead of searchin'
For greatness and we become complacent servants
On a day to day basis, we waste so much time waiting...
Sitting around and trying to buy our way to a permanent vacation
Every time we think we have made it the novelty faded...
Back to the bottom of the barrel; Scraping, shaping our patience
We are degrading our faith because we are making our lives spacious
For what?
Have we become shameless?
For a future that from the start was tainted
For something that you wanted so much you could have never hated it...
We have developed so many faces it has left us faceless...
Why?
Was it our tastelessness? Or was it the blatant whip?
It may have been a self-righteous stagnant graceless flagrance
You cannot mask the fragrance of a wound so much greater than it's
creator
We liked the music but we changed the station,
We were presented with a buffet of opportunities
We piled our plates without any hesitation...
Get your two cents in
Even when it's hard to see, walk like you can see these thieves
Be relentless in your adventures and never forget to mention the credit
The people who were there for you, they were not scared of you
They stood by you even though no one else cared for you...
Although you might never forget the truth,
There are people who will fight for you!
People who would ruin their lives for you!
They would die for you!
They share your vision and they believe in you
Don't you dare lie, you better speak the truth...
