Dont Wait Until Its To Late

I can’t believe you are gone
6 feet deep in a rectangular zone
Surrounded by a wooden box
Covered with soil & solid concrete stone
I remember you never slept with the lights off
Now you are in the dark all alone
As your flesh becomes bone
And skeletons vanish into ashes
I hope your beautiful soul flourishes
My excuses Were I was always busy
When one is alive
Taking them for granted is so easy
I regret never even talking to you on the phone
This feeling of hurt I can no longer condone
I miss your scent, smile and tone
It’s too late but I wish you had a clone
