Don'T Understand It
Many years ago
I fell for you
We fought over stupid stuff
You could always put a smile on my face
Then the more we fought
The more I stopped liking you
Then you went too far
I couldn't go back
The feelings I had
Were bottled up inside
Ready to start a flame
We grew apart
Didn't talk for almost a year
Then I realized
I missed how your smile
Lit up my world
So I simply said hi
Who knew a simple word could heal a broken heart
I just don't understand how
I love you
But... I know it will never be
