Don'T, Tell the Others

Fame, money, and sex
These the cards on your decks?
Living many secret lives
Until one of which arrives?

One stupendous event
Led me into getting all of them
In a dark alley, two blocks from here
A hunter and his pet came near

The man told me of his king,
Offering blood, to which his pet sing
"Seat beside him, gain his army"
He said this, also hinting at immunity

Not only did I gain the three,
It's a life one couldn't afford 'til it's free
The world of shadows brought that to me
Speed and immortality, you’d know what I’ve come to be

I must not go back
The lights are no longer for me.
Don't tell this to the pack,
The secret life I live, I must now flee…
