Don'T Tell

He said, " Don't tell!"
mommy would cry and
my daddy would yell.
So, I told grandma
and she made me better.
Told me I am a good girl
but he was a bad man,
a monster to a child.
And when mom and
dad found out they
didn't cry or yell,
they just held me
so very tight telling
me how much they
love their little girl.
