Don'T Stop the World From Turning
Mother Earth is so divine
If I stood still for a lifetime
And realize I’m just a spec
But tried to grasp the true aspect
Of why existence is the norm
Then in the eye of raging storms
I might not fear my death
I’d whistle away my last breath
While the world revolves around me
To tunes of stars and sunny beats
It’s not true what they say
She beams with laughter everyday
A joyous dancer spinning
Rhytmed by practice from beginning
As I stay anchored to her heart
Planted crosses will become part
Of homes to which we must return
When candle scented lives adjourn
And harvest crops of the fertile
Unconscious left feet in denial…
On a happy woman’s dance floor
With happy thoughts forever more
Then way above some starry sky
An ageless smile shall signify
Igniting glow with veneered fiddle
Her spotlight chance to shine in the middle
Inviting all the sleep deprived
To dance and join the disco drive
Evolved through space with darling Mother
Revolving all around each other
