This is really quite profound, Wilma. There are people who "smother" their mates with attention and affection. Love needs freedom to flourish; it can't be reigned in. Awesome poem, my friend. Love, Carolyn

Its a tough line to stay on, and I believe in my hear it takes wisdom and age to really understand when to pull back and when not too.. well anyway thats been my experience in my rollercoaster life of love and loss... Deep write my tender sweet Wilma N....love Michael

I know what that is like...I got accused of betrayal for moving on, when he left me high and dry in july and had no action to speak of, then smothers me with words of love with no action to speak of and constantly complaining if someone else takes an interest? imagine...snort
