Don'T Play Me the Fool

The melody of memories frolic in my brain
Show me bliss forever in your eyes of insane
Light me up with your fiery wick that sparkles anew
Brighten me up with your perfect pleasures abrew

Darling, don't play me the despised fool tonight
I will put up the fight in my mind day and night
Promise me you will be with me like we used to
When you feel alone, always know that I love you

Mistakes happen and it's meant to be sometimes
We do things by accident and we commit crimes
God forgives our trespasses of many kinds, love
Break free from captivity and the negativity you think of

"Mistakes happen and it's meant to be sometimes We do things by accident and we commit crimes" - a very real line! Great job :)

Are we not foolish Mistakes are part of being human As long as you learn from them and don't seek to prolong them
