Sometimes what we find after taking a tumble is worth the fall. I'd advocate shifting positions, moving the muscles and taking the risk of falling off that precipice. Hard landings create open minds to what we'd never expect, while soft landings don't allow new perspectives. Tolerance cannot be found... it must be learned through trial and error... perhaps? It makes life's mistakes easier to overcome.
