Don'T Lose the Race

All these racists, wish they could erase us They got baseless cases, scared of different faces Chase this idea they've been done wrong Singing a long song, how they're trodden upon But i'm not going along, trying to excite and incite Hate isn't right, don't think your light shines too bright No one race is misplaced, and it won't help your case When you chase an ideal that's sadly distaste Put yourself in another man's place, walk a mile in his shoes Your confused, we've all paid our dues and suffered abuse At one time or another, in the end we are brothers Share a moment with others, and pull back the covers Learn with concern, and you'll earn a degree Of humanity, insanity is not wanting to see Why walk through life, with such strife, with a knife or a bat It's not meant to be that, get a grasp and we'll laugh Share a meal, tell stories and express how we feel And realize with widened eyes, no surprise, Hate isn't real
