Don'T Leave Me Hanging

Don't leave me hanging sis!

I came out of nowhere with an agenda on the mind
Joining the soup to be near my favorite love
a game I did not plan to play
Until he called upon the first round.
giving it my best shot
Then came round three and more.
The poets here I started to explore
Not taking my poetry seriously
The writing just happens naturally
now I see why she visits everyone at the soup.
My sister who puts on a show with words
Is adored by her very own group
the Destroyer was my pet name
She gave me when I was young
So envious of her, I broke the head of her only dolls.
using her poetry was the way she tortured me
Inside me, she bestowed a poet of mischief
Now I like to tease everyone mind with words

I hate this poem..... Lol..don't read it... It was a joking way back then

This was a breath of fresh air to read. So different and intriguing! I never would have thought you to at one point look at poetry so negatively... funny how things change and as you read more and more you become unintentionally moved by it... so much that you wish to start your own movement. This was such an OPEN read... it's amazing when people can climb out of their holes and spill out all theirs beans for the whole to see... so effortlessly! (sorry for rhyming so much... wasn't intended!)

Your style of poetry is diferent, humor mixed with story telling, then again it doesn't sound like your being humerous on purpose, you can tell your a very sarcastic person dependng on what your talkin bout or writing about. I mean that in a good way, it shines in your poetry. Have a great morning or night.:) check out my new poem too, A Vain Time Is Coming!

Dear poet destroyer, A very fine Poem for Amy's Contest but I wonder if You followed the criteria for the ContestOne thing Amy said was You couldn't wish someone back alive as I read this I see maybe You are trying to bring Yourself back alive to continue to destroy the one Your Heart truely Loved and also bring her back alive (as i'm sure she feels dead towards You) Good Luck in the Contest ALWAYS YOUR Liege...HG
