Don'T Leave Me

He's pulling too hard at my roots; Trying to move me where I don't want to be, but insists.

He knows I'm wanting to leave and never look back.
There's more out in the world then this tiny garden I'm stuck in.
But...

I'm hurting myself and I don't want him to leave.
But I know the most beautiful flowers always get picked first.

And it's painful to know he didn't pick me.
