Don'T Hesitate, Vaccinate

Will this pandemic ever be over and everything get back to normal
When high school kids can have a dance and the girls wear a formal
Will our small children grow up thinking a mask is a necessary thing
As common as a tissue, a cotton ball, or an ordinary length of string
Will we ever again not have strangers look at us like we are infected
Will we ever be able to travel without being so irritatingly inspected
Will it be possible to eat in a restaurant and not feel we are isolated
It could happen someday very soon if everyone would get vaccinated!

Children can not switch on TV without seeing a needle plunged into someone's arm, yet there is no vaccine for them. What will their future be? Unfortunately, too many Americans do not care if children have a future!

As I understand it, Rico, considerable research is underway to make the vaccine viable for the little folk. Unfortunately, I think, too many people don't care about the future, period. Thanks so much for your thoughts and comments, Rico.

Thank you, Mike. I just hope everyone will take this very seriously. Unfortunately, there seems to be a whole segment of people who want to risk it and everyone else. 'Nuff said.

The conspiracy theorists have had a field day about this, injecting you with trackers, altering your dna etc, cant believe they have been taken in. In one of your replies you said many dying now are unvaccinated and that is a fact. A few lucky ones that survived have said they wished they'd had the vaccine when they had the offer. Tom

It is so sad, Tom, but the major problem is that the unvaccinated endanger everyone else!

Good write. The word I used often was, "leper." Even my own family didn't want me near them because I was classed as asymptomatic. Yes, I wish this was over... I am also hearing and seeing those getting the shots and still getting very sick.

That is true, Eve, but overwhelmingly those who refuse the vaccine are being seen as a problematic. Who knows? I don't, but I do feel that if everyone got the vaccine we could probably defeat this virus.

Sure wish everyone would get vaccinated. A pipe dream at this point, I guess...

It's a very sad situation, you know. See all my comments to Caren. I don't want to get my blood pressure up by going into another rant! (chuckle)

I read somewhere that forty-five percent of the people who are not vaccinated say they will not become vaccinated. I blame social media and false stories for this selfish idiocy.

Most of the people who are dying now are the unvaccinated, so if they want to take that route, I guess there is nothing we can do about it. But, I can't help but think we may upgrade the gene pool a bit. (can't believe I wrote that!)

Me too, Caren. You know we've knocked out several diseases and no one raised a stink about it...polio vaccine, smallpox, etc. If we don't get a handle on this, we'll be back to square one. You know, I think we are better than this!!!!!
