Don'T Fight It Write It

DON'T FIGHT IT.....WRITE IT!!

Tantalizing you make it seem
As easy it maybe to gleam
This poor brain is out cream
To come up with a theme
~
I want to be supreme
And let the stream be filled to the brim
But this poor brain is out of cream
To come up with a theme
~
Now give me my husband dear
He is always makes it appear
So easy like putting on footgear
It is just so unclear for it to be sincere
~
Life would be so much easier to be William Shakespeare
From my golden pen onto my paper words would flow and appear
Like honey in a beehive of gold
Inspired poems to  be unfold

Happy First day of January, Eve from Texas:) , Congratulations on your nice win. Thank you for all the time you took supporting and entering my contest this past year 2015:-) I'm taking, this time, to explain how I really enjoyed every entry. I truly wanted to place every poem, but two with high placements. However, it is a contest and with all the bickering going on about the way we judge our contest. I did not place everyone the way I wanted to in this contest. I do APOLOGIZE. Please don't be upset if you are sharing a placement or did not make the top 10. I try to find something that makes me smile...an old picture...a great tune....my kids running wild...a roaring campfire....a star filled night...that special someone...lovely Eve

Same her but like you mention not always, he tells me I'm using to many repetative words, you left me hanging, or who are you talking about, he drives me crazy so it's best not to go to him and ignore him. Hugs sweet friend
