Don'T Fight It, Write It
I am trying to find, what to write,
When I don’t fight with my lover,
I write sweet little love poems,
Which She never likes it, she never reads it.
The dilemma grows in my mind,
My thoughts are getting bottled up,
It needs venting, it needs a release,
No need to fight it, I must write it in words.
When I am choking with pain in lonely nights,
I am struggling to be with my lover,
I am not going to fight to hide my emotions,
I am going to write a heartbreaking song.
There must be many turmoils in life,
Simmering inside my heart for long,
No need to fight, but write the feelings in words,
Someone will read it; my heart will find some peace.
May be this effort will release all my secrets,
But the struggle to speak the truth rises in me,
If I can write a sonnet, it will be a great relief,
I assure myself please, do not fight it, write it, no one will read your sonnet.
