Don'T Cage the Net
The internet is a free world
For all to explore
To tweet and snapchat
To tumblr and facebook.
A place where we find all information
Communicate with those far away
No matter how a part they are
With the internet
It's easy as finding a pie recipe.
We live in harmony
With only a little discord
Bu twe all live happy
In our digital world.
But Greed wants to suppress
Try to turn our world
Into a cash cow
Restricting freedom
Slow speeds that lead to buffer
Charging to use websites.
We the users will not stand for it
For this tyranny of greed
To extend it's iron fist
Upon the digital land.
We will stand united
With those who want to oppress
This beautiful digital world
That connects all
We won't let you
cage the internet
Like a wild beast
For it's majestic wings
Deserve to be free
Now and forever.
The digital world
Is our home from reality
Our means to communicate
Our way to seek knowledge
We won't let you
Stripe us of our rights
We will not take net neutrality
It is the ying and yang
That keeps the balance
You remove it from the equation
You'll throw everything out of order.
So we stand here
The whole world
Against your greed
The internet is free
For all to use
Not a tool to fuel
Your sinful nature.
Net neutrality will remain
As long as we each live and breathe
So don't you dare try to cage the net
The internet is free for all.
