Donald J Trump

Have you ever known a sorer loser than Donald J. Trump?
Still going around the country promoting his big lies,
Unable to deal with his most evident political demise
The GOP is still asking how high he wants them to jump!

Such a disgusting narcissist, he’s still promoting his scam
He cannot bear to be a common citizen like the rest of us
He’ll throw anyone who disagrees with him under the bus
As to the American people, he really doesn’t give a damn.

He has done so much to promote divisiveness in our land
Yes, on January 6th, he encouraged a political insurrection,
Attempted to overthrow a free and fair presidential election
Thank God, it did not go as he and his followers planned.

Will the American people foolishly allow his return to power?
I think not; in fact, I do not believe he’ll seek his former seat
He could not bear to go down in another humiliating defeat
Our country will be better off if he retreats to his ivory tower.

I remember my 88 year old mother kept saying "The bully won! The bully won! The bully won!" after the election. We never got over it, and he never got over the fact that he did not EVER get the popular vote, and he did not even win the electoral votes the second time. Worst bad sport in the history of the world.

Love your mother! Yes, the bully won, but the American people showed him the road the second time around, and I think they will do the same if he tries again. JMHO.

I have found life simpler that way...if I always do what the women in my life tell me! (chuckling)

I went back to see the comment and the response, but all I found was my comment. Someone must have deleted the big ha ha. And, Jenna, I always do what you tell me! (chuckling)

I suspect you are wrong inasmuch as Americans now accept a government of the Party, by the Party and for the Party. Only a moron would allow a repetitive bankrupt, bigot, and liar to manage their money, and we have yet to learn just how much the Trump looted from the Treasury during his presidential term, but the cost to our land and people continues to soar! Aloha!

Indeed, it does, Rico. And, a reelection would put a frightening seal of approval on his style of "governing." God, spare us the agony!

Milt I have never judged this person as President, rather I have judged him as I would any other grown man, I will not accept a liar, I will not accept someone who takes no responsibility, I care little for small minds from those who have been given power, embarrassing that this person represented our country, I listen to those who are made to bow down to his wishes and ask myself why they allow him to strip them of their manhood, land of the brave, give me a break 4 deferments, "me USN CVA 66"

Good morning, Milt. You know my feelings about liars, and djt tops the list. Yesterday I read a poem called Silly People that stated we now have a fake president and fake news. I refrained from commenting, “yes, Trump was a fake president and he called the truth “fake news.” I will never comprehend how anyone can believe his crap. He refuses to admit defeat, continuing to create havoc. Hope his ivory tower crumbles around him.

Jenna, your comment is well-taken. I thank you and I are on the same wavelength when it comes to people of his ilk. Thank you.

Thank you, Milt, for exercising you right to free speech. I don't agree with anything you've stated in this rant, but totally agree you have a right to free speech. We all seem to see what we want to see and are blind to what others say they see. Not a politician so I don't really know what is going on. I try to look at the heart of a person, not the propaganda. Bill, I appreciate your response and comment on my poem. Everything in the poem is absolutely true, whether you agree with it or not. I only regret I did not have space to list all of the reasons for each assertion. Actually, I wouldn't call it a rant, either, since it is certainly not grinding an axe. It is simply stating truth (as I see it). Thanks, Bill.

No sorer than Hilary Clinton... Really those two are peas, along with Slick Willy, in the same pod -- never passed up a lie they thought they could get away with. The chickens DO come home to roost however. Bill got what was coming to him. Hilary and Donald are about to get what is coming to them. And we, as an electorate, vote for these chumps. Shame on us. Oh, well... Let's see an equally fine poem on Bill and/or Hilary now, Milt! ~ With Anticipation, gw

Your thoughts are well-received, gw, but I would have preferred to keep the comments on the poem. Politicians of the past are not even remotely the threat of Trump who is constantly mounting his soapbox to drag this country down. Just my humble opinion. He should have quietly faded into obscurity like Pierce and Harding, among many others.

i am here to avoid the news that penetrates this country, this world but i did enjoy your musings. i am not a fan of Trump but i did vote for him. i think this November we will see a sweep of the GOP because Biden and crew have brought it on themselves. so did Trump...but like i said, i am here because by nature i am eristic...the nuns used to mutter "Enfant Terrible" when i entered the room...i eventually helped counsel addicts and became a hospital chaplain...

I agree with you 100%, Milton and hope you’re right about the next election but I’m afraid that he’ll give it another go and, unbelievably, people will support him. I’ll never be able to understand his pull…

Thank you, Ilene. Everything I wrote should be reason enough to tell him to take a hike...permanently. But these times are strange, are they not? In any case, at my age, I probably won't have to deal with what he would turn this country into.
